*DIY* How I fixed my shoes from scuffs and scratches

I have this lovely pair of shoes. But, they were damaged … you know how it is… you can hardly remember how you did it, but the marks speak for themselves.

I had to do something, because I really liked them. So, I googled ”how to repair shoes”. I read a loooooooot of pages, till I find a solution, and I’ll share it with you now.

So, I tried two things. The first one was to treat the scratches and scuffs with toothpaste and toothbrush.

The second one was to try to “erase” them with nail polish remover.

I was very careful with the nail polish remover, because it can cost more damage, if not used properly. The red and green marks disappeared. But I had to try hard with the black ones. With the toothpaste, I managed to remove them, and I could not believe my eyes.

Finally, when all colored marks were gone, I saw that there was a spot, where the leather, was not only scuffed, but ripped off. So, I took, some of my nail polishes and tried to mix them, to make a similar to my shoe’s color. Now, my shoes, look as they’ve never had scuffs and scratches.
